Winter Wonderland

We have had snow and frost since Christmas, our lochs are frozen and the mountains are stunning, pristine white. The country side is lit up with the sun most days. Lockdown is a difficult time but we are extremely grateful to have this on our doorstep making our chilly daily walks a pleasure. We are sad that no tourists can enjoy this time and tragically Cairngorm mountain is closed for skiing, lets hope restrictions are lifted soon for everyone to enjoy the beauty of the Cairngorm National Park .

Shona and Thorsten provided a warm welcome to their highly attractive property. Covid prevention measures are in place and we were shown to a lovely large bright bedroom. The bathroom has a very good shower and organic products were much appreciated. The rooms are spotlessly clean. The B&B is located in a quiet street with quick access to the High Street with quirky gift shops and plenty of eateries. Numerous walks are close by. We enjoyed a peaceful sleep in a large very comfortable bed. Breakfast was excellent with generous portions. We were unable to eat muffins, however Shona very kindly provided a bag for take away. We would definitely stay here again
