Snow Covered Cairngorm Mountains

February started with plunging freezing temperatures, in some areas of the Cairngorm National Park temperatures as low as minus 18 were recorded. We were left with beautiful scenery and overall calm. Thankfully we have great walks, off piste skiing and skating which have all been enjoyed by locals duirng the lockdown.
The thaw has started this week and the birdsong is out in full force, we are beginning to see life and colour again and we are very much looking forward to the Spring.
